Methodology

TELL is based on a lean consortium of focused and complementary participants from industrial and academic backgrounds.

In particular in TELL Infineon Technologies Austria, the leading European supplier of Si MOSFETs and GaN HEMTs, will be working together with the developers and manufacturers of the currently most efficient European motors and inverters for low and medium voltage applications, i.e., Valeo and GSME Group. The developed powertrains will adopt controllers developed by the University of Surrey, including energy-efficient front-to-total wheel torque distribution, traction control based on continuous wheel slip modulation, and anti-jerk control. The demonstration of the performance of the novel powertrains will be carried out on the two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive electric vehicle platforms by I-FEVS.
